Philadelphia criminal defense lawyer Pierre LaTour defends people all across the state for a variety of criminal offenses.  Mr. LaTour has tried over 100 jury trials and obtained not guilty verdicts for thousands of clients who have been charged with DUI/DWI, drug possession with intent to deliver (PWID), drug conspiracy, possession of a handgun without a license and related firearms offense (VUFA), sex crimes; including rape, child sexual assault and possession of child pornography, aggravated and simple assault, homicide, robbery, and other charges. Mr. LaTour handles cases in both federal and state court and has tried criminal matter in Philadelphia, Doylestown, Media, Norristown, and West Chester, as well in as communities in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

Mr. LaTour has been awarded the distinction of being named one of Pennsylvania's "Super Lawyers" for criminal defense from 2010-2017. 

Before entering private practice, Mr. LaTour worked as an assistant Philadelphia District Attorney who tried hundreds of criminal cases from 1998 to 2003.

Mr. LaTour attended Union College where he graduated cum laude in 1998 with a B.A. in political science.  He worked on Capitol Hill from 1992-1995, and entered law school in 1995.  Mr. LaTour graduated from the American University Washington School of law in Washington, D.C. in 1998, earning his J.D. and graduating cum laude.

Mr. LaTour is licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania as well as federal district court for both the Eastern and Middle District.
